We've decided to have Amy and the kids over for dinner every Wednesday to help break up the week since hubby Allen is now working two jobs to help provide for his dear family. I saw these cute little ice cream cones at Trader Joe's and thought they would bring a twinkle to the kiddos eyes not to mention a sweet tickle to their tongues !

I decided to try my baking skills today making Irish "Car Bomb" cupcakes. I got the recipe from the blog "Brown Eyed Baker" adapted from "Smitten Kitchen". Both of these ladies do a great job in the new foodie world. Cant believe people spend their days posting recipes and pics of food for people they dont even know. My Granny would not have believed it !
The hubby just walked in the door from work, so I quickly placed the other half of my cupcake in his mouth, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm !!!!!!!

We put up some new swings for the grandkids.

Isaac finally learned to fly and really took to being Peter Pan.

Apple Pickin...

I had the privilege this fall of having my grandsons preschool over to pick apples, taste juice, applesauce and apple bread, for the total apple experience. Thank you Allison for a great morning with the little people. You do an amazing job teaching them, incorporating the ways of the Lord. Thank you so much !

Apple time is here again...
