Asparagus ???

Can you believe I am really growing our own asparagus ! Ive talked about it for years and have even tried growing them in a few pots a couple of years back, but these are the real deal. My sweet hubby finally put in some raised beds for me last year (I'll be posting some pics of that later, a bit late). I found a place back east last year that sold 2 year old roots, I planted them and had to wait till this spring to harvest. So yummy. I just love to watch them erupt from the soil. Its amazing how many inches they can grow in a day. Here are a few pics of their progress.
